Why Senator Cory Booker Is Inspired By Black Women

Yes, Girl! - July 20, 2019

In New Orleans at ESSENCE Festival, the YGP hosts had a chance to get to know some of the 2020 presidential Candidates better. Senator (and TRUE Jersey boy) Cory Booker (@CoryBooker) came through for an intimate conversation where he shared his commitment to Black women and our community. Cori and Charli had the pleasure of chatting with Sen. Booker about developing communities, his Vegan lifestyle, his love for his home state and the Black women who’ve inspired his career. And with Election Day 2020 quickly approaching (473 days to be exact!) the senator also offers encouragement for those of us who are feeling a little jaded about the political process.
