Episode 3 – The Buffs are about one-third of the way through Fall Camp. How is the whole no two-a-days thing going? Physical fatigue should be better but how will the Buffs handle any mental fatigue. Neill talks about the rapid growth of the defense as practices progress being a pleasant surprise in all areas. Several players are mentioned who will be able to make an impact this season. Defensive backs will be highlighted the next few days with Neill’s position preview coming out this weekend. Get a first glimpse into what the group is doing throughout camp. Another scrimmage is coming Saturday, what will the coaches be looking for? How much does it help Steven Montez to see these defensive backs every day? They also talk about Jenny Simpson and her performance at the World Championships. Her performance in the last 100-meters to finish second in perhaps the toughest 1,500-meter field in history was amazing. Jenny is cementing her legacy as one of the best middle distance runners in U.S. history. Mark also catches up with volleyball coach Jesse Mahoney and soccer coach Danny Sanchez to preview their seasons, which are rapidly approaching.
