CU Buffs Insider - November 17, 2017

Football’s on a bye week, so Voice of the Buffs Mark Johnson is coming to you from Lynchburg, Va., where the men’s basketball team is taking part in the Paradise Jam, relocated this year from the US Virgin Islands due to Hurricanes Irma and Maria hitting the region. MJ has way too much fun with Tory Miller and George King. Which player does the best Tad Boyle impersonation? How about the best MJ impersonation? MJ also catches up with Andy Katz, who will broadcast the games for FloHoops. Katz gives good insight into how the Buffs are viewed from the national scene and also what’s happing nationally with the sport. Lastly, MJ catches up with Nels Hawkinson, the founder of the tournament, who talks about what the tournament is still trying to do for the US Virgin Islands. Most of the proceeds from the games in Lynchburg will go to the Islands with a goal of $100,000.
